If the leak is directly below your bathroom then you have to mark the affected area of your ceiling and remove it for obtaining a better look at your leak. Dripping that occurs in the front of your tub can be repaired by disassembling the drain trap and replacing the drain assembly.

If the drain trap is below the tub due to losing connection, the drain pipe might be leaking the water. You will observe the water dripping down from the drain trap while running water in the tub. To fix this problem, you have to tighten the drain connection by using channel lock pliers.

If the metal trap is faulty you need to replace it with a new plastic drain trap assembly. Kitchen fixture leaks problems can be sorted out by looking for leaks in the drain fitting, shutting off valves, and water supply pipes.
